[p4perl] Compiling p4perl for p4d ver. 2001/.1

It should be fine. I haven't explicitly tested P4Perl with an old server in a 
while, but P4Perl was designed from the beginning to work with many different 
server versions.

Either way, there's no 'danger': commands may fail, but that's just a fact of 
life.
