Subject: Mac OS X p4python

Hello M. Cowham,

I just wanted to inform you that I successfully compiled your P4Python
modules under Mac OS X v. 10.4 .

I used Perforce’s API under the 05.2/bin.macosx102ppc/p4api.tar

I haven’t used your setup.py script though. I compiled manually with g++ by
adding the command line arguments:

-Wl,-framework,Carbon,ApplicationServices

And then moving the compiled P4python.so into my
$PYTHONHOME/lib/pythonx.x.x/site-lib/

By default, the gcc and g++ version is 4.0.1 under Mac OS X v. 10.4 (Darwin
8).

Just wanted to tell you in case anybody asks
