Trust me - you are not logged in on your production server (as the specifed
user) but you are on the test server.
p4 -p  perforce:1666 -u csaha login -s
and look at the output of "p4 tickets"

Hi Robert
Thanks for the reply ...
I also thought so ... but the same code is actually working perfectly on
another P4 duplicate server (my test server - where my credentials are same)
but I am getting this errors when I am pointing to my Production Perforce
Server (perforce:1666).

You either need to login in manually or run the .login() command

Hi All

I am using P4Python for developing a python program but I am getting this
error when I am exeecuting this command in my python program [
p4c.run("dirs","//depot/FinanceIT/RegIT/*") ].

Error is

Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "C:\DevIIS\Inetpub\WWWroot\report\not in use\aa.py", line 21, in
   top_level_dir_list = p4c.run("dirs","//depot/FinanceIT/RegIT/*")
 File "C:\Python25\lib\site-packages\P4.py", line 284, in run
   return P4API.P4Adapter.run(self, *self.__flatten(args))
P4Exception: [P4#run] Errors during command execution( "p4 dirs
//depot/FinanceIT/RegIT/*" )

       [Error]: Perforce password (P4PASSWD) invalid or unset.

My code is this

#! "c:\python25\python.exe"

import os, sys, cgi, P4

p4c = P4.P4()
run = p4c.run
p4c.port = "perforce:1666"
p4c.user = "csaha"
p4c.password = "MyPasswd"
p4c.client = "csaha-test"

top_level_dir_list = p4c.run("dirs","//depot/FinanceIT/RegIT/*")

print top_level_dir_list

Any idea, where am I making mistake?

Thanks in advance to all

Thanks & Regards
