[Perforce-announce] Perforce 2006.1 beta test release available

Dear Perforce User,

Perforce Release 2006.1 Beta is now available on our website at:

   http://www.perforce.com/perforce/loadbeta.html

Perforce 2006.1 Beta offers improved branching and merging logic
in the Perforce Server, new customization options in P4V, and RSS 
feeds in P4Web.  Please see the web page for a complete list of 
components and enhancements.

NOTE:
    Upgrading your Perforce Server is a one-way migration.  Please read
    the P4/P4D Release Notes carefully and follow the procedures they
    describe.

The new Perforce client tools can be used without a server upgrade.
However, some new client features may not be apparent without the
Release 2006.1 Perforce Server.

We invite you to download the beta test versions of the Release 2006.1
