[Perforce-announce] P4DTG 2007.1 beta test release available

We are pleased to announce the 2007.1 beta release of the Perforce
Defect Tracking Gateway (P4DTG), available now at:

The Perforce Defect Tracking Gateway replicates defect data between
the Perforce jobs subsystem and an external defect tracking system.
To map job fields to defect tracker fields, P4DTG provides a graphical
configuration editor. To ensure that updates to the defect tracking
system and Perforce jobs are synchronized, P4DTG includes a replication
engine. Support for Mercury Quality Center 9.0 is provided.

P4DTG beta release 2007.1 product highlights include:

* An installer for Windows.

* The ability to run the replication engine as a Windows service.

* Improved support for running Perforce and the Defect Tracking
  server in different time zones.

* Improved Mercury QC plug-in support for multiple date/time formats
  and adding a safety window to prevent replication failure of issues.

* Handling of NULL and empty strings for SELECT fields.

The Perforce Defect Tracking Gateway is available for Windows XP.
