Yes, I know.  I think that they meant it to be a sort of second-level
interface that automated scripts can use which is easier to parse.  At
least it's documented, even if it isn't in the menu of available
commands.

I'm not sure about its release-to-release compatibility, but I'm pretty
sure that it will only contine to have fields added, and that the
existing fields shouldn't change.

Perforce folks, is this true?
