Rob,
My experience has been that it depends on how you you P4Win to do your
integrating:
-- If I select the branch from the list and integrate, it will be
bi-directional.
-- If, however, I select one source branch or the other and choose to
integrate by selecting a branchspec in the next dialog (this may only be a
99.2 feature?), then it will be one direction only, and it then gives me the
option to change it's default direction.
Also, you do not have to have the source files mapped in you currect
clientspec in order to integrate from there into your target branch. This
may help reduce confusion for other members of your development team who may
only need to integrate from one direction or the other.
