[p4] Which Solaris for p4d?

Personally I'd go with a linux installation, the filesystem structure on
linux is much faster than that of Solaris.

On the actual issue at hand though - I've run P4D on a Sol 7 machine with no
issues.

Subject: [p4] Which Solaris for p4d?

I'm starting my test migration from p4s.exe on NT to p4d on Solaris. My
sysadmin say I can choose from Solaris 7 or 8. Any advice?
