And that files are kept locally... these are all the things that I chose
Perforce for.

Not quite sure what you are referring to. I would like the capability to be
able to create a changelistspec, much as there exists a jobspec. We want to
have a place for bug info etc. Right now, we use a trigger for this, to
check on the formatting, but it would be nice if Perforce did it for us.

Unfortunately, renaming and reorganizing are not as easy as in Clearcase, it
is something people have been pestering Perforce for. The integrate method
is what they have, and while it does the job, it's not perfect.

No problem. No tool has the features that everyone wants. However, when you
get used to working a certain way, it is hard to change.
