[p4] Why is xemacs / gvim /vim kind of editors not supported in p4?

I doubt that strongly.  Most unix users probably use vi, plain emacs, or
text editor.

By the way, xemacs works with P4 fine for me.  The xemacs that I have is
Emacs 19.14.
