[p4] Synchronization issues

Duh on me.  I really have to stop answering e-mail right after I wake up.
Oops, here I go again :)

As far as 'changed or newly added from a branch' goes, there won't be a
visible different between the two with 'sync'.  Even when you're getting
revision #1 of a file, it may be a 'locally' added file or it may have come
from a 'branch'.  If you really want to see the differences, you may have to
go through some hoops.
