[p4] How long to keep journal and checkpoints

Depends on how often you're taking them and how much recovery you
need. For installations with lots of activity or little room for error, I
typically checkpoint once or twice a day and do full daily backups of the
depot tree, checkpoints and journals on both daily and weekly
rotations. In this scheme I usually let the checkpoints and journals age
for a week and make sure that they never get deleted until after the
corresponding backups. In fact, I sometimes set up the cleaner script as a
post-operation for the backup and the checkpoint as a pre-operation.
