I recently migrated our perforce server from a windows machine to alinux machine. One of the developers at our company refused tocheck-in his files before I made the switch. When we brought perforceonline with the new server everything worked fine except for hisclient now won't show that he has the files checked out. But, if hetries to check out the files then perforce says that these files arealready checked out and that he can't check them out again.
I tried deleting his client with the hopes that perforce would revertthose files but it will not. I tried reverting those files from hismachine and from a super user account emulating his credentials butneither will work.
Is there a way for me to fix this with some undocumented command? Isthere a way to force a revert or to force a re-edit? Anything elsethat I may try?
I am using perforce 2004.2/69887 and the windows server was the sameversion but the machine is no longer around so I can't get an exactnumber. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,Corey
