[p4] Consolidated linecounts/changes for different branches/versions.

Check out 'code reports' from Smart Bear Software.
A recent client showed me some of the stuff from it, and it munches
on your trees and populates a local SQL database for fast-and-useful
metrics of the sort you're talking about. Knows about comment/non-
comment lines, that sorta thing.
Might be worth your money; definitely worth your time.
