[p4] Post "p4 edit" operation trigger

Hi All 
   
  Is it possible to set a post "p4 edit" operation trigger? Actually I want to lock the files immediately (& automatically) after the user runs p4 edit <file-name> on the file ( using command line / GUI ). 
   
  Is there anyway it is possible? Pls let me know.
