Job Description:

Company Summary:


Dash is integrating accurate, personalized roadway traffic information with
a low-cost navigation solution to inform drivers of the quickest route and
estimated time of arrival, whether on their way to a client meeting, for
metropolitan-wide fleet management, or for a daily commute. The services
leverage an inexpensive in-vehicle device with GPS to self-generate
optimized roadway traffic data from users as "floating car" probes, and
patent-pending wireless networking capabilities to minimize wireless
communication costs.


Responsibilities: 


.          Develop tools to support engineering build, release,
configuration and testing processes 

.          Using revision control systems such as Perforce assist in the
merging process between multiple product lines and branches

.          Collect and verify for accuracy product release notes, changelogs
and other product related documentation

.          Work with QA to integrate smoke tests and verification
check-points in the nightly build

.          Assist troubleshoot broken builds


Key Requirements


.          Expert knowledge of shell and script programming

.          Proficient with GNU Make and Ant (incremental and parallel
builds)

.          Professional knowledge of revision control systems (Perforce,
CVS) and support tools (Tinderbox, Bonsai, LXR, StatCVS)

.          Advanced degree in CS or CE

 

Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills: 

.          8+ years of build release, configuration and management
experience in a commercial product  

.          Excellent written and verbal communication skills

.          Proactive, problem solver

.          Self-motivated, detail oriented and self-directed

.          Team player
