[p4] How to sync my local office code with my HQ automatically

Where is the Perforce server? Install P4V at the location not with the
Perforce server.

If you have the Perforce server at your location, then P4V at HQ will help.
Otherwise, probably not from what I understand from your email.

Hi Jeff,

Thank for your reply,
I read that perforce proxy might be able to help to sync my code
with my HQ.

But I can't full understand it from the administrator guide, chapter 9.
Could you assist/advise me whether I should install the proxy at
my HQ side or my side. I just want to sync my code to HQ, not
HQ to my side.

Thank you

Sure, P4Proxy will help speed it up for those syncing after the first person

does.

One of the simplest things to do is schedule a nightly run of a script that
simply logs in and does a sync for you.
