[p4] Proxy service terminated unexpectedly

No one is using the client on this machine. There are several clients
that connect to this machine however. And I know that all clients in
the office are running the same version.

The volume shadow copy is turned on because of veritas's backup
procedures I believe so I don't think there is any way around that.

Make sure your proxy version and your perforce version is the same.
Disable the Volume shadow copy if you dare or if you can and don't need
it.

Check to see if your log setting on the server is turned up to verbose
and check to see if anyone is using the P4V client. It this turns out
to be the case you need to upgrade to the latest version of Perforce
and/or turn down the logging

Hello,

I have several proxy servers running here and only one of them is giving
me issues. For the past week now it has crashed with the message in the
event viewer "The Perforce service terminated unexpectedly. It has done
this 2 time(s)."

The two times I have something in the event log for this I see that
volume shadow copy had been started and perforce choked and died shortly
there after. I am clueless as to how to attack this any suggestions?
