[p4] Diff on same dir in two depots

By "depot" I assume you mean server instance. You should look at VCP for 
migrating.

Another approach is to copy one instance, obliterate what you don't want 
to migrate, checkpoint it and use perfmerge2.pl. Advice on the approach 
and the script can be obtained through support.
