[p4] Automated testing of a new installation

Hi there,

We are planning a move from Win2k to Linux, and would like to know if anyone
has tools to test our new platform and installation.  The sort of thing we
would like is something to thrash the server and put it under heavy load so
that we know it will perform well before rolling it out into the production
environment.

Anyone got any good scripts or tools to do this that they are willing to
share?
