[p4] cvs tags?

Yes, there are tags/labels in Perforce. You can download Perforce and
actually use it for free as long as there are fewer than two users.
Plus, you can download the Users Manual at
<http://perforce.com/perforce/doc.052/manuals/p4guide/p4guide.pdf> and
the Administrator's manual at
<http://perforce.com/perforce/doc.052/manuals/p4sag/p4sag.pdf>.

Download the software and go through the manuals. This should give you a
pretty solid basic understanding in Perforce in just a few days. If you
really want, you can ask for a 30 day evaluation license. Plus, Perforce
will give you a free licenses if you are working on a qualified Open
Source product.

I use tags a lot with cvs to manage servers. I do not manage development
with cvs tags. Are there tags in perforce?
