Even when I go more than 10 hours with submitting, I still notice if  
the WAN between my and the server has flaked out. P4's server centric  
way of dealing with things means I must contact the server to do an  
edit, revert, or compare to base.

Also, don't discount the critical need sensor. Stuff never breaks  
when everyone is on vacation. It breaks at the most inconvenient time  
possible :-)
