[p4] Is there a way to delete a version (not a file)

I am looking for the equivalent of clearcase's "rmver" command. The use 
case it to undo a [faulty] submit and restore the state prior to the 
submit. I know that one could resync to the previous state, check out, 
sync, resolve -ay and submit, but this will cause merge confusion down 
the road. I'd rather have a way to make it as if the change never happened.

I fear the answer is "no" -sigh-
