[p4] Can you hide a single file across projects using p4 protect?

I would like to hide a specific class of files common across all
projects, from a certain class of users, specifically around the build
configuration.  Is there any way to supress listing of a file name
across projects?

Something like:

list group pmteam * //depot/*/build.config
