[p4] A question about integrating in P4V

Hi all!

Maybe this can be explained quite rationally, but I find it weird that
one can only integrate one specific file or a whole directory when using
P4V. What I'm willing to do is to only select the few changed files in a
release branch and then integrate their changes into the mainline. In
P4V - it seems to me - I have only two options: 1) select one and only
one file, or 2) select one folder (and all its files) for integration.
After integration process P4V marks each file for resolve even if they
are not changed neither in mainline nor in the release branch.
Auto-resolve can handle the situation of course usually, but it takes
time and many new revisions in files in mainline get created with no
real change done.

I'm using a common branch specification something like this:

//depot/project/subproject/releaseX/...
//depot/project/subproject/main/...

//depot/project/other/releaseX/...
//depot/project/other/main/...

-//depot/....y    //depot/....y

A quick look at the P4 User's Guide made me think that integrating just
the needed files would be possible using the command line, but I'm sure
some co-developers here wouldn't be happy with it.. Is there a way to do
the selective integration also with P4V without making a separate branch
specification for each integration?

Thanks!
