[p4] p4 trigger giving syntax error on 2005.1

thanks for the response.  
The error happens just as I save the triggers file, before the trigger
is execute by perforce.   It's part of parsing of the trigger syntax.
Does perforce check to see if it can execute the command when you save
the trigger files?
 
The user being used to add the trigger has super access.
 
I will certainly add the 2>&1 to the end of output information.
 
Can't get on the perforce machine at the minute but will try later.
