Apologies, left in a typo - despite having seen it (sigh)
I meant "job"
Repeated in full
Does anybody know of a way to get better behaviour from P4V when using
server triggers ?
I have a specific situation, but there may be others.
We restrict P4 to force a submit to have an associated job.
When this trigger fires, the changelist is allocated a number and not
submitted.
From P4V this leaves the Submit dialogue open - as the Submit failed -
but the dialogue remains on the default changelist, which is now empty.
Although this does count as "user error" the fact that the dialogue is
now incorrect starts to make P4 look dumb (to the user).
Thanks
