[p4] Password is set, still getting the unset error.

Thank you all. It worked perfect when I tried p4 logout and then a p4
login.
I think it removed the expired password from the p4ticket file and
entered a fresh one.

Yep. I'd guess that the reason is that your Perforce server is set to
security level 3, and does not use passwords in this way. If that's the
case, you have to login and get a ticket.

Hi,

	I have set all the p4 environment variables. I am sure the
password
is valid, because I have logged into P4Win using the same password after
I
got this error. 

	Do you think there could be any other reason why I am getting
this
error? I am trying to create a p4 sync script to run as a scheduler to
cache
my files for the proxy. Before that I thought I will try out the command
on
the DOS prompt. I get the error at this stage itself. Is there something
that I have missed out?
