[p4] Sync updates the revision number of open files

I think the p4 resolve -n will help, particularly as the output can be
added to the logs our autometed tools create.

I think another way of thinking about the red mark that you'd like
is that the p4 resolve -n
shows the files that should be marked in red.

If you didn't do the sync, or the files didn't get their revision
numbers
updated, then they would not know a resolve would be necessary
until they tried to checkin.
