[p4] Question on sync

Hi,

  I am new to Perforce and I am in the process of converting our Ant
build scripts to use Perforce (from Vss). One problem I have is in the
current state, our build scripts sets up a temp folder and gets files
from Vss and puts them in the temp folder.

 

With Perforce, you do sync and it takes files in the depot and puts them
to a corresponding location in your workspace. 

 

Is there a way to get files from the depot and put them in a different
location? I would like to do this in one step versus getting the files
them moving them. 

 

Any help would be appreciated.
