[p4] Perforce integration with VS .NET 2003

I would say what I think about VisualStudio as an IDE environment,
but there are people with sensitive ears on this list.

VisualStudio allows one to use a different binding for each and every
component in a project. Why? I have no idea, but it makes a great big
mess. There are multiple types of special files that VisualStudio
needs to look at to see which view each component is bound to. And,
there there is the special project file that also contains Perforce
binding information. And, of course, VisualStudio INSIST on checking
in each and everyone of these files, so it can tell that you're using
a source control system.

If you have more than a single branch or more than a single person
using more than a single Perforce client on the project, you're going
to have trouble. All the other IDEs I've seen do not put any
information of the IDE in the files they want to check into source
control. This is not true of VisualStudio. To me, the whole thing
looks like a Microsoft plot to make Visual SourceSafe look good. And
trust me, it takes a lot of work to make SourceSafe look good.
