Having gone through a recent user name migration which forced everyone to
rebind their solutions, I can tell you that I've seen sporadic reports about
solution and project files being deleted off of the local drive when having
multiple soltions in the same folder and going through the steps that I've
given.  The files are read-only (not open for edit) yet deleted anyway.
Force sync solves the problem, but it is a bug to watch out for.

This is with VS 2003.
