I just completed an upgrade to 2006.2 from 2004.? for a medium/large customer (300 users, 12g db.have file)

We also did a hardware upgrade and put a disaster recovery system in place so I don't have exact timings for you, but we completed the production roll out of the whole thing in around 12 hours. I would expect just the software upgrade to be completed in a couple of hours, plus a starting checkpoint.

The upgrade went very smoothly. The only suprise for the customer was that the p4 login mechanism defaulted to a timeout and we had to change the group settings to make the developers happy again.

Good luck,
