[p4] p4 revert on a file that no longer exists

I assume you are asking this because the files are opened for edit,
otherwise a revert is irrelevant.
If the workspace tree doesn't exist ... a revert doesn't make any sense
because there is no valid change list to revert. You can nuke the old
client but I would first restore a copy of what the old workspace referenced
in the depot
p4 client -t intern.workspace1 new.workspace2
This will create a new workspace using the view spec from the old one and
you can sync. If this is not what you want then help me understand what
state you want to be in after the "revert"?

Subject: [p4] p4 revert on a file that no longer exists
Hola~
I'm sorry for asking this, because I'm pretty sure it's gone by a couple of
times, but I can't seem to find the answer in the archives.
I need to revert files held open by an intern that no longer works here. So,
the user's home directory and tree no longer exist. Is there any easy way to
get Perforce to just revert a file without having to refresh it?

RENNY: But what made the thing go off right when we were over the island?
DOC: Probably a radio controlled detonator, actuated by a transmitter
