[p4] "WARNING: //... - no target file(s) in both client and branch view."

Hi,
 
I get this error each time I try to integrate a set of changes from the
branch to head.
 
I follow the documentation explicitly, and each time I have no success.
 
Can someone explain to me what is going on and how to get around this
contant annoyance?
