If you get this kind of error, you should contact Perforce support
immediately. They will help you through recovering from this kind of
error.

Though I'm no expert, I imagine that this is due to the database not
being compressed on deletion. If you make a checkpoint then restore
from it, you should see this reduce in size.
However, I would go about resolving the corruption error before trying
to minimize disk space.
