[p4] P4 monitor negative times

Hi
I've noticed something that seems a bit odd in the return from p4
monitor, negative times. I've only seen it happen when running a task
outside of perforce such compressing an old checkpoint file.

Does anyone have an explanation. I'm asking this more out of idle
curiosity than concern as it only seems to be yet another way of telling
that we are maxing out the server, again.
