It was announced in the 2007 Perforce conference at Las Vegas that
the Perforce Defect Tracking Integration (P4DTI) will eventually be
superseded by the new Perforce Defect Tracking Gateway (P4DTG).
Ravenbrook are therefore planning for the eventual phasing out of the
P4DTI by Perforce and we're working to understand what's needed for
migrating to the P4DTG, including the kind of timescales that would
be acceptable.
If you are a user of the P4DTI, we'd like to hear from you about what
aspects of the system are important to you so that your needs can be
met by the P4DTG. We'll be contacting some of you individually for
discussion. Please let us know if you would particularly like to
take part in this exercise or have strong issues you'd like us to
address.
We are hoping to have much of the discussion on the p4dti-discussion
mailing list. If you are interested in this work you are welcome to
pitch in there. Please see:

for information on how to join the list.
You are also welcome to contact me directly at pnj at ravenbrook.com.
I'm looking forward to the discussion.
