[p4] Parsing change descriptions in a trigger

Has anyone any scripts (ideally Perl ones) that perform any sort of parsing when a change description form is output?

I've been trying to get one to work but perhaps because of my clumsy Perl I can't seem to be able to read the
temporary 'formfile'.

(I'm not absolutely sure I can achieve what I want anyway as my trigger doesn't appear to fire at all when p4
describe is used but that's another part of the problem really.)
