One must manually link each Eclipse project with Perforce:
Context-click the project -> Team -> Share...

Subject: [p4] Perforce + Eclipse + Maven integration
I have the Perforce plug-in for Eclipse and I've connected to the
server, but once you do this, and import your Maven projects using the
normal import wizard, they aren't associated to Perforce at all. Eclipse
has no idea these files should be managed by a Team subsystem, so that's
useless. (Typically with CVS you use the CVS import wizard, and check
out the files from CVS.)
You can import from the Perforce View, but 1) that's one Maven project
at a time, and we have many dozens of these, and 2) they aren't named
uniquely, they're named after the folder (e.g. "components"). That's not
going to work.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to get these projects into Eclipse
so they are associated with the Perforce hooks? Surely someone has
solved this problem already?
Thanks for your help,
-Marc
