[p4] Perforce and Apache

Nope. There really isn't much to go on except for the ant user guide
which isn't all that good. I was hoping by now that someone would have
a good book about Ant, but no such luck.

Don't be afraid to examine the source code for the P4 tasks. The code
isn't all that complex, so it's fairly readable even if you don't know
Java. That can really help you understand what is going on in the Ant
task.

The problem with the P4 tasks in Ant is that there isn't a lot of work
going on with them. Most of the Ant development effort is going into
the main feature set, and not the optional features.

I think the biggest problem you're having is that VSS and Perforce
work so differently that the Ant tasks really aren't compatible with
each other. There's not much you can do about that.
