I've seen that message when using a proxy and the primary server was out
of disk space. You might get the same error if the primary was in the
same state. You might want to have a look at how much space your old
checkpoints are using and what is happening to the drive space on your
proxy as well.

Subject: [p4] write: socket: WSAECONNRESET Error during p4 sync
Hi,
All my developers get this error when they try to sync their
work area. This happens only on some days other days the proxy works
perfect. We are using a Perforce Proxy to connect to the US Server.
These are the server and proxy version that we are using.
Server version: P4D/LINUX26X86_64/2006.1/113344 (2006/12/21)
Proxy version: P4P/NTX86/2006.2/113956 (2007/01/04)
Perforce client error:
TCP send failed.
write: socket: WSAECONNRESET
Thank you,
Raghu
