Rob,
One thing I want to mention here is that only users connecting
using Proxy have a problem. If the same users try to connect directly
then it works perfectly.
And talking of disk space on the proxy server, I have around 24
GB of free space on the same windows drive. So I don't think that is a
problem.
I seriously doubt that this has something to do with the
network. Is there any tool that helps me find the network latency and
bandwidth used which I can install on the proxy server and monitor.
The other thing I wanted to know was, what is the maximum
network latency and bandwidth that Perforce proxy needs to work without
hick ups.
Thank you,
Raghu

I've seen that message when using a proxy and the primary server was out
of disk space. You might get the same error if the primary was in the
same state. You might want to have a look at how much space your old
checkpoints are using and what is happening to the drive space on your
proxy as well.

Hi,
All my developers get this error when they try to sync their
work area. This happens only on some days other days the proxy works
perfect. We are using a Perforce Proxy to connect to the US Server.
These are the server and proxy version that we are using.
Server version: P4D/LINUX26X86_64/2006.1/113344 (2006/12/21)
Proxy version: P4P/NTX86/2006.2/113956 (2007/01/04)
Perforce client error:
TCP send failed.
write: socket: WSAECONNRESET
Thank you,
Raghu
