Thank you, Bob, for the reply. I cross-checked this with my network
team; they monitored and replied that there are no packets being
dropped. I think I need to monitor it personally next time when it
happens.

I'm no p4p expert but I don't think either of these values matter very
much.
If latency is 1 second and maximum sustained throughput is 1.5KB/s p4p
will
probably work just fine.
The problem you showed us all last week was probably more related to a
network connection that was dropping than anything else.
I use p4p over a connection that has 20 hops, 250ms latency and 20KB/s
max
sustained from Ukraine to California.
