[p4] Question about checkpoint times

Hi Mark,
Here is a reference point for you.

du -shc db.* is 6.8 GB takes 16 minutes.

On an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06GHz running Linux. db files and depot  
files stored on a NetApp connected with standard 100 mb ethernet.
