[p4] Eclipse plugin - keeps saying '{path} not under client'sroot'- stumped

Exactly. Don't copy the Cygwin p4.exe over the Windows p4.exe (i.e. "replace 
it" ). Simply make sure both are on your system and the correct on is found 
using the PATH in each environment.
