[p4] Workspace option: exclusive open

Sorry for the late reply, was out on holidays during the last week.  I
thought I could check my emails in a daily basis, my wife thought
otherwise.

We our migrating from CVS to Perforce, I am new with Perforce.  I have
found a great deal of resistance against P4, mainly because we
currently use CVS with Tortoise and I guess concepts like add, edit,
changelists, integrations and client workspaces made no sense to
anyone except myself.   And trust me, users are not trying hard to
understand, mainly because some think good SCM practices provide no
value.

Having said that, you will understand why I am trying to set things up
the most simple, restricted and transparent way I can, at least till
developers really understand how P4 works.  I did consider one
workspace for all branches, I found this very risky though, because of
the same reasons mentioned by Steve in his reply.
