[p4] P4V 2007.3 cannot log in to P4AUTH slave server?

Yes I can confirm the same problem. Running P4V/NTX86/2007.3/149519
against P4D/NTX86/2005.2/104598 (2006/08/04) using P4AUTH results in
P4V  reporting "no such user" for most users. Testing with the
perforce sample depot  the existing user bruno works fine but any
newly created users give the "no such user" error. Newly created users
work fine from the command line.

The problem does not occur with P4D/NTX86/2006.2/136815 (2007/10/12)
or P4D/NTX86/2007.3/143793 (2008/01/21), I did not test any other
versions. I did not test any previous P4V versions.

Best contact Perforce support and see what they recommend.
