[p4] Checkpoint hung, tables locked? ... support not in yet

Hi Dan,
I misspoke (typed) about support not being available. I apologize. I
was willing to wait the 30 minutes for US support to open and save the
cell phone charge of calling your UK or Australian office (I hadn't gone
into our office, yet).

I ended up killing the processes (400+ processes had been spawned). Our
checkpoint usually takes about 30 minutes, and this checkpoint command
had been sitting there for almost 8 hours. A validation of the tables
checks out, and the tables were not locked. Everything appears to be
okay.

Thanks,
Ed

Checkpoints don't really produce any output between the very start and
the very end (I've got an enhancement request to give some kind of
status output, actually). So it may very well not be "hung". I would
really, really recommend against killing a checkpoint though.

Incidentally, the UK and Australian offices are willing to help US
customers during their office hours, which amounts to Support being open
much "earlier" than you'd think. :D
