I believe this is a contract position, but the recruiter who called me
told me this was very urgent. Sounds like a Unix shop.

Title:
Perforce Administrator
Job Description:
The person in this role will help administer a Perforce environment
running linux and windows servers (consisting of 8 different
instances) and will be supporting 3200+users. The potential candidate
will be responsible for the day to day monitoring of backups,
verifications, and review processes, as well as end user support via
ticketing system, calls, direct emails, etc.

Responsibilities include:
o Daily administration (add/modify users, create branches/labels, etc.)
o Server administration tasks (backups, upgrades, trigger implementation, etc.)
o Troubleshoot perforce client issues
o Troubleshoot server issues
o Perforce server tuning
o Architecting perforce solutions (hw planning to optimize
performance, evaluating new tools and processes, use of multiple
servers, etc)
o Participate in cross functional discussions regarding Perforce
adoption and usage.
o Knowledgeable in unix/linux
o knowledgeable in perl and python
Skills/Experience:
Candidate should have at least 2 years experience with above mentioned
technologies and tasks in an enterprise environment. Windows and Linux
Server experience. Basic understanding of SCM and software development
processes. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with
customers and partners from both IT and engineering
Additional Skills:
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows
Education Requirements:
-Engineering experience of two to six years is preferred.
-Education Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in EE, CS, or CE. Masters Degree preferred.
